Brandi passante became an overnight celebrity after her appearance on A&E's reality series 'StorageWars.' It also featured Jarrod Schulz who was her boyfriend of many years and now husband. On this show, items from storage lockers where rent is not paid after three months of rent will be auctioned. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction with hopes of being able to purchase storage units for cheap prices. They didn't realize that the show was going to turn them into reality TV stars! the couple! Over the course the show the couple emerged as stars. The success of the reality show helped boost their businesses and they were able to establish a second shop in addition to their existing shop that they already ran. Their appearance in 'Storage Wars' also resulted in a spin-off series "Brandi and Jarrod: Married to the Job' exclusively focused on them.
