Cardi B is the daughter of an Dominican father and a mother was born in Trinidad and Tobago. Through her adolescence and childhood She lived in one of the most impoverished neighborhoods within the Bronx. Her family was part of numerous street gangs and caused her to live a turbulent life. There was a male friend who belonged to an gang that she lived in a shared home for a while and she endured constant attacks from him. Musical Theater and Technology High was where she enrolled. Her job was as a cashier in order to provide for her family. At 19, she became a stripper. To look good and earn more money, she underwent multiple surgeries to increase the size of her breasts. Cardi planned to obtain the bachelor's degree but she opted to drop out due to time constraints. In 2013 she began becoming a social media star, particularly using Vine as well as Instagram.
